This is a courtesy notice to all Utility customers with delinquent accounts. On Tuesday, September 20, 2011 the City Council passed an Ordinance that allows bills turned over to collections to be assessed a 35% collection fee. To avoid having your delinquent bill sent to collections and assessed the 35% fee you have until October 10, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. to come to City Hall and pay IN FULL your account. You will continue to be charged for current monthly services; only the amount that was past due will be sent to collections, so this gives you an opportunity to start fresh.
